Every person has a diamond buried deep inside them. It’s the source of their talent and their energy. Together with our partners, I really like helping to awaken people’s talents so that they can make their dreams a reality: pride in a job well done and people working together with their families, friends and communities. Their progress is the oxygen that feeds my passion.”
Degree in Applied Economic Sciences
I got hooked on development economics when I was at university. ACTEC provided me with an ideal setting to put my theories into practice to transform people and institutions. Our projects offer quality vocational training, which provides the shortest path to escape the grind of poverty. I feel very comfortable in my role as an assistant to our partners to make things happen!”

Masters in Population and Development Sciences
Working at ACTEC provides new challenges and the satisfaction of seeing our projects grow and prosper every day. What I like best in my work is the collaboration with our partners in the South. It’s a source of cultural exchanges, learning and motivation for our daily mission. I am responsible for the follow-up of our projects in Guatemala, El Salvador and Kenya.

Master in International Relations
After 6 years of work experience in the financial field and 1 year of volunteering in Kinshasa at ACTEC’s partner CEFA/Monkole, I continue my professional path within the NGO. Willing to contribute to a fairer world where the dignity of every human being is ensured, I enthusiastically follow up on projects that help make higher quality training accessible and build the capacity of local organizations.

Masters in Chinese Language and Literature - Bachelors in Information and Communication
I’m fascinated by different cultures and human contact. I’ve been passionate about my work in the development field since 2009. After seven years of managing capacity-building management programmes in the public sector, I was very motivated when I came to ACTEC. The inspiring management of strong partnerships with a range of committed players in the South has increased my conviction that I’m contributing to the consolidation of a fairer and more equitable world through access to quality education for young people and adults, who are the real actors of change for tomorrow.
Haiti & DR Congo
Master in Sociology
Having lived in South America and Africa many years during my childhood and adolescence, working in the international cooperation sector makes sense for me. After working 2 years and a half in the public sector as a statistical analyst, I am now taking my first steps in the development cooperation area at ACTEC. What I appreciate is the relationship with our partners and the possibility to attest the impact of our work on the field and on the beneficiaries. I am currently contributing to the implementation of projects in Haiti and DR Congo.

Masters in Management
Graduated in management, I primarily worked in business finance but I quickly decided to change my career’s path to find a job with a high positive impact on our society. Thanks to ACTEC, I now use my energy to develop education and training projects that respond to the right and the fundamental need of having access to an education of quality and a dignified employment. In cooperation with the local partners, I am responsible for the follow-up of the projects in Guatemala and El Salvador.
Master in History of Art and Archeology
My multidisciplinary training and my interest in development aid allowed me to become a secretary and accounting assistant at ACTEC. I joined a team of motivated workers with whom I share the conviction that education and training are the best ways to improve living conditions and fight against poverty.
Masters in NGO Management, Innovation and Leadership
I’m grateful for the freedom I enjoy as a European citizen and knowing that thousands of people live in poverty convinced me that it’s necessary to work on and commit to building a more human world. We have to provoke an “earthquake of solidarity”. I fully share ACTEC’s insistence on the value of every person and its vision that providing decent work is the best way to fight against poverty.
Masters in International Humanitarian Action
I’m passionate about Latin America, anthropology, travel and development aid. Coming to work at ACTEC was obvious. Each mission to meet beneficiaries and partners strengthens my passion and belief in our work. After eight years at ACTEC in Brussels, I’m now working in France to share our projects.
