ACTEC is an NGO recognised by the public authorities. It has been officially certified by the Belgian Ministry for Development Cooperation, which allows it to operate under a co-financing system.
Thanks to this mechanism, every amount we receive is subject to an enormous leverage effect; i.e., it is multiplied by five, making your support even more helpful and effective!

How to give?
There are different ways to contribute to ACTEC’s mission:
• Make a wire transfer to the ACTEC account provided below with the message “Support for ACTEC projects” or by entering the name of the project you want to support.

• A standing order: for a non-profit organisation like ACTEC, it’s essential that we be able to forecast the capital we can allocate to our projects. Regular monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly support enables us to optimise our management with the partners in the South. Fill in and use the attached form for your bank.
• An inheritance or will: ACTEC is authorised to accept donations and inheritances which will benefit from a lower tax rate. ACTEC provides tax deductibility certificates for all gifts of minimum €40.

Our annual financial statements are audited by a certified auditing company, the Ministry for Development Cooperation and the Ministry for Finance.
You can donate to ACTEC in Spain, where you will automatically receive the tax benefits provided for by Spanish law.

Send us an email to inform us that you have made your transfer so that we can send you a tax certificate in your name.
You can donate to ACTEC in France, where you will automatically receive the tax benefits provided for by French law.
ACTEC is a member of Transnational Giving Europe (TGE), a network of major European charitable foundations and non-profit organisations which provides donors, private individuals and companies with the option, via the Fondation de France, to provide financial support to non-profit organisations located in another country under the best tax and security conditions. Thanks to this network, the Fondation de France will provide a tax deduction certificate for every donation of five euros or more made to ACTEC.
