Our mission reflects the solidarity instincts of many Europeans who want to provide concrete solutions to the lives of people living in developing countries. ACTEC is grateful for the invaluable help from its private donors and partners, including foundations that share our ideals and who work with us to ensure that our dreams of solidarity become an effective reality.
Investments by our donors are multiplied thanks to the Belgian Development Cooperation (DGD). The Belgium government expresses the solidarity of our country through a co-financing programme which covers 80% of the costs of our projects.The remaining 20% are covered by the generous contributions of our donors and partner foundations. In practice, that means that if we receive a donation of €100, the government provides another €400 for a total of €500. We would like to thank the DGD and Belgians for their decisive contribution which enables us to reach many people in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
During our project monitoring and coaching missions, we receive a constant flow of thanks from people who benefit from our actions.
