Transforming people to change society
ACTEC wants to contribute to creating a more dignified world by providing solutions to socio-economic injustices. Developed countries spend on average €8,500 per year and per young person on basic education and vocational training. This training makes an exponential contribution to developing their personality and makes them autonomous. From a macro-economic standpoint, these countries have an essential resource to ensure the equitable progress of their societies and citizens: their own, well-educated population, which has received effective vocational training.
In the countries of the South, the investment in vocational training is €50, 100, 200, 500…per year per person. This explains the gap between the “two worlds” which perpetuates and aggravates injustices.
Our work streams
All of our training programmes include human relations and social training required to increase personal dignity
Project allocation
ACTEC and its partners share the same vision of integral training
The human relations and social training modules of our training programmes enable changes in behaviour – hygiene, nutrition, prevention of illnesses, respect for the environment – and attitudes – family solidarity, civic involvement and community organisation. All of these are essential to ensure the sustainability of our work.
Our areas of intervention
ACTEC develops different technical and entrepreneurial training programmes to reach the most underprivileged populations and provide them with opportunities suited to the realities of their environment
