In 2011, the State launched an ambitious education reform aimed at increasing access to quality education for the most vulnerable populations and ensuring that technical training responds to the country&#8217;s industrial and productive reconversion.<\/p>\n<p>The unfavorable economic context has had a major impact on the labor market, where decent job offers are scarce. Some regions, such as the province of Esmeralda, suffer particularly from a lack of professional infrastructures in which trained young people can find employment. Vocational training is performance-oriented, which is the objective sought from basic education (primary) through high school, following the curriculum designed by the Ministery of Education, which enables students to learn to \u00ab know, do, be and undertake \u00bb through a comprehensive educational approach.<\/p>\n<p>Profamilia Foundation is a non-profit private institution, registered in the Ministery of Social Protection since 1991, dedicated to serving families with limited resources.
